After sashaying down the red carpet for two consecutive days at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, actor Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan now seems to be in the running for another Hollywood movie. If sources are to be believed, the actor has discussed the prospect of working together in a movie with none other than Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.

A source from Cannes says, “Russell was with his wife Danielle Spencer and they bonded well with Ash. Word is that they also discussed the possibility of doing a film together and both parties were very keen. It would be a great starcast to have for any movie as it would see the best of both industries coming together.” Meanwhile, it seems that Hollywood actors like Eva Longoria-Parker and Elizabeth Banks have been inspired by Aishwarya.

“Last year, Aishwarya had walked hand-in-hand with Abhishek Bachchan in Cannes much to the delight of shutterbugs. This year, Eva and Elizabeth got their husbands  NBA star Tony Parker and sportswriter and producer Max Handelman, respectively  to walk alongside them at the red carpet in Cannes,” the source adds. Since Aishwarya is in France for the festival, she could not be contacted for comment.
