Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was spotted with his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan early Tuesday morning walking from their residence Prateeksha to the Sidhivinayak temple in Mumbai.
The trio were joined by Jaya Bachcan but no one knows the exact reason for this late night visit. But if one could hazard a guess it could be that after the disastrous performance of Ramu Ki Aag at the box office, the Bachchans would give anything for some divine intervention for their next big release Sarkar Raj.
Earlier, the Bachchans started walking today from their residence in suburban Mumbai at 0200 hrs (local time) towards Prabhadevi in central Mumbai, sources said.
They reached Siddhivinayak temple and participated in the Kakad arti (before sunrise).
The serpentine queue of devotees, who come from all over Mumbai and nearby areas, was stopped for over an hour when the Bachchans were offering prayers, sources added.
Every Tuesday, devotees visit the temple in large numbers to offer prayers and some even walk several miles from their homes to the temple to reach in time for the Kakad arti as Tuesday is considered "Lord Ganesha's day".
The Bachchans have been regular visitors to the temple and before Ash and Abhishek's marriage the family had also paid a visit.
