Following the same, Amitabh Bachchan who was supposed to visit Nashik to inaugurate an old age home, had to postpone the trip for his granddaughter's naming ceremony sometime post January 14, TOI reports. The old age home, Nanasaheb Deshmukh Vridhashram run by Neptune Foundation, is a free facility for elderly citizens.
Amitabh was supposed to visit Nashik at top cop and 'long time associate and very dedicated friend' Harish Baijal's invitation. Baijal told TOI that Bachchan Sr informed him "on Tuesday evening" that the inauguration would have to wait as his daughter Shweta Nanda had come over with her children. Also, "Abhishek and Aishwarya's daughter's naming ceremony would take place soon."
