Though Rajini Sir made fun of his pairing with Aishwarya Rai at a past event, the duo sizzled in the film Robot. Yes, there’s been a lot of speculation lately about what Aishwarya’s next project will be, and there were also rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to have Aishwarya in his Bajirao Mastani that too with Shahrukh Khan.
But now one hears that Rajinikanth, who is recovering from an ailment, is readying himself for yet another film and he would like to have Aishwarya for a cameo in the film.
As a source tells a tabloid, “There was a lot of back and forth on what project Rajnikanth would be working on, post his illness. But now he has already started work on his daughter Soundarya’s film Kochadaiyaan. Though the leading lady for the film is yet to be finalised, it was decided from the very beginning that they would request Aishwarya to do a special appearance.”
Since Aishwarya has a baby now and also other projects coming her way, it seems difficult for her to devote time for a full-fledged role and hence she won’t have much trouble doing a cameo. Moreover, she and Rajini Sir share a very warm relationship, so Aishwarya would never say no to him.
But what about the announced movie Rana? Rajinikanth was supposed to start the film as soon as he gets better. The movie will have Deepika Padukone opposite Rajini. Will it be shunted for Kochadaiyaan?
