Aishwarya Rai's daughter is certainly keeping her family busy, but mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan managed to tear herself away from Beti B for a day in order to attend an art gallery exhibit in Mumbai.
Jaya Bachchan attended a solo exhibition by Jaideep Mehrotra and took in the artist's most recent paintings. She looked happy and relaxed, and prettier than she has in quite some time—it's obvious that the stress leading up to the birth of Aishwarya Rai's daughter is gone from her face. She appeared entirely elegant as she worked her away around the room and mingled with a variety of other celebrities attending the event—notably Pooja Bedi (of Bigg Boss fame) and Kabir Bedi (a television and film actor). Unlike her mother-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has yet to make any public appearances since returning home with her daughter. She waved briefly to the media after a family press conference the day she arrived back from Seven Hills Hospital but to date hasn't been seen. Hopefully she graces the public with an appearance shortly—her fans are certainly eager to see her!
