Aishwarya Rai is in her eighth month of pregnancy. Recently, Aishwarya’s baby shower was a grand affair and now, people are curious enough to know whether she will continue acting post her delivery.
It is said that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has paid a visit to Ash and the reason is not only friendliness and fondness for the actress, but also a film. Sanjay and Aishwarya have worked together in three films, and all of them were well-praised by the audiences. Discussing a film at this stage when Aishwarya’s due date is next month, it’s apparent that they both are thinking of a movie. On the other hand, Rajkumar Santoshi is also waiting for Ash’s confirmation for his movie ‘Ladies and Gentleman’.
Vikram Malhotra, speaking on behalf of the production house confirmed, “We’ve signed Aishwarya for a film that starts late 2012. We`ve discussed a couple of exciting script ideas that she has liked. She has committed to doing the film next year. She will be consulted for the final subject of the film.” Malhotra also added, “The scripts have been selected keeping her stature in mind. We will soon finalise a project in close consultation with her.”
Sources say Aishwarya will continue to work after delivery and her next film is with Viacom 18 of which the shooting will start from mid-2012. So, it seems quite certain that Aishwarya Rai will definitely make a comeback on the silver screen, post her delivery.
