Aishwarya Rai now happy her film role: Her legendary beauty has always been a topic of discussion and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a source of inspiration for many a filmmakers and several upcoming directors. Roles have been penned keeping her in mind. One such filmmaker who decided to write a script based on Aishwarya’s days as a model, is Saagar Bellary of Bheja Fry fame. Apparently, a part of of the plot of his latest venture, Hum Tum Aur Shabana, has been inspired by the ex-Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s days when she was a top model and won the Miss World title.

Our source said, “The character that Minnisha Lamba plays in the film has been inspired from Ash’s life when she was a top model and was crowned Miss World. Minnisha had made it a point together all the clippings and even watch Ash’s Miss India and Miss World videos so as to get into the skin of the character. She did all her research so she could portray her character realistically,” said our source.

When contacted producer Sunil Chainani confirmed saying, “Yes its true that Minnisha Lamba’s character has been inspired by Ash during her modelling days.”We have just one doubt: How will the petite Minnisha carry off a tall Aishwarya look?
