Aishwarya Rai promote her flick at KBC: Action Replayy team sans Aishwarya Rai landed on the sets of  Kaun Banega Crorepati to do the promotions of their retro special movie. The team comprising Akshay Kumar, Vipul Shah, Shefali Shah, Neha Dhupia and Aditya Roy Kapoor were introduced by the host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan. The audiences got thrilled to see their very contemporary actors in their retro looks. But they were wondering also regarding the absence of leading lady of the movie, Aishwarya Rai.

This would have been wonderful moment to see Amitabh Bachchan quizzing his daughter –in-law on the hot seat. But she did not appear with her team buzzing industry with several reasons. She kept the secret of her to be or not to be on the show till the last minute. However, there must be just reason for her backing out from the promotions of “Action Replayy” on Kaun Banega Crorepati”. It is reported that “Action Replayy” team played for the charity cause of Salman’s NGO ‘Being Human’ and perhaps, it was the reason that Aishwarya did not make it to the show.

If believe the rumors, she stayed away because she did not want to play for Salman’s foundation. But this looks very awkward on the part of such a global star who works for several charities otherwise. However, Akshay Kumar, became first on the hot seat, played with his team and won Rs.25 lacs. They were all quizzed by Amitabh Bachchan randomly and also shared their experiences with him driven from the movie “Action Replayy”.

Akshay Kumar was the first to share his experiences at school with the Mr. Bachchan. He also enacted one of the wonderful moments of his school days when he got embarrassed owing to his failure to reproduce the learnt poem. He shared that he always wanted to be back in his school days where he had great fun of life. He wishes the same fun would come his son’s way while he is in school.

Akshay Kumar, Neha Dhupia and Aditya Roy Kapoor came in the chic and style of 1970’s that belongs to Amitabh Bachchan also. He is the one who earned super stardom at that time leaving the first super star of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna behind him.
