Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan might host an exclusive private party for American chat show host and good friend Oprah Winfrey when she visits India later this January. Oprah Winfrey took an instant liking to Aishwarya Rai during her first meeting on Oprah Winfrey Show in the year 2005. Aishwarya Rai, along with husband Abhishek Bachchan met Oprah in 2009 at the chat show.

If sources are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek are planning to throw an exclusive private bash for Oprah Winfrey when she will make a stopover in Mumbai during her India visit. Rumours are rife that Oprah is keen on paying a visit to Aishwarya and Abhishek's daughter, Beti B.

Meanwhile, Oprah's reason for visiting India is to shoot with spiritual guru Deepak Chopra for her new chat show, Next Chapter. Oprah will also participate in the Jaipur Literary Festival to be held from January 20 to 22.

In this candid conversation Abhishek not only spoke about his film but also about his wife Aishwarya Rai and his little angel. He even revealed that it’s unlikely that Aishwarya will return to acting very soon. The actress wants to savour all the joys that came to her with motherhood as she is enjoying every moment of it. The proud father also says that Aishwarya is doing a fabulous job as a mother.

But that doesn’t mean she will not make a comeback. “But I’m sure, she would continue acting. I am the last person to stop her,” says Abhishek Bachchan. However, one would also feel bad for the actor as he discloses the pain he feels when his films flop, and when he is not given due credit for his work just because he is superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s son. Abhishek is also excited for his just-released Players. The remake of The Italian Job is such a great bonus for him since Micheal Caine’s 1969 film used to be one of his favourites.

It has been weeks since the birth of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's baby daughter. However, the mystery behind the much-delayed official naming ceremony of 'Beti B' continues to create a buzz among the Bollywood fans. Family friends have revealed that Amitabh Bachchan's grand daughter's name is likely to start with double ‘A' and could well be short and sweet.

If the insiders are to be believed, the much-superstitious Bachchan family is waiting for the inauspicious period (according to the Hindu calendar) to get over by January 14 before holding the naming ceremony on January 15, which is an auspicious day. Hindus celebrate Makar Sankranti on this day (a festival to mark the end of winter season).

After Bollywood's 'first' baby was born on NOvember 16, millions of suggestions poured in from fans in their bid to help the family decide on a name. The family has been taking their own sweet time in shortlisting the suggestions.

The narrowed down list comprised three names, revealed a source to Indian daily, DNA. All names start with A in the final list. However, Aishwarya chose the final two options and the entire family agreed with her decision. Now, it will be up to Amitabh Bachchan to choose the final name.

Meanwhile, the Bachchans disappointed their fans yet again as there was a lot of speculation that Big B's might reveal his granddaugter's image to the world in the New Year. Although the new 'Paa' Abhishek tweeted New Year greetings to his fans and friends, the much-anticipated image never followed. The Bachchan family is determined not to reveal the baby girl's pictures to the world any time soon.

Almost two months after Beti B was born, the Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan are yet to come up with a name for her. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek had asked their fans for suggestions and Abhishek’s Twitter account was full of possible names for the past few weeks. While everyone’s still mum about the final name, Abhishek’s close friend spilled the beans on their plans.

The Bachchans have narrowed down their options to two names and both begin with double A. Abhi and Ash have approved the names and now it is up to the senior Bachchan to decide which will better suit Beti B, or Bitiya – as Big B likes to call her. The buzz is also that the name will be officially announced only on Makar Sankranti, which falls on January 15 this year. The period till then is supposedly very inauspicious. Ahem.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter has finally got a name! As per sources, Beti B's name reportedly starts with a double 'AA' and is short and sweet. One of Abhishek Bachchan's close friends has revealed to a leading website that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek have finally chosen a name for their little daughter, who was born on November 16, 2011.

Terming the entire procedure of choosing the name as 'methodical', the friend informed that Aishwarya and Abhishek made a list of names that the entire family had suggested. They then narrowed down the names to three. Though everybody liked two of the names suggested in the list, they decided to go with this name that starts with a double 'A'. As per sources, the name was first approved by Aishwarya. However, it will be Amitabh Bachchan who will finally decide on the name.

The Bachchans once again disappointed us by keeping away Beti B aka Bitiya's pictures from the world even in the New Year. While busy daddy Abhishek tweeted Happy New Year greetings to all, the nation was eagerly waiting to have the first glance of Aishwarya Rai's new born daughter, but Ash and her family once again proved that they won't reveal the baby girl's pictures.

But that's not the end of Bitiya's topic since the Bachchans earlier said that they would name the child officially in December, but till now the little Ash hasn't got her name. Since the time Amitabh Bachchan leaked the news of his daughter-in-law's pregnancy, the nation showered endless love and blessings over Ash's good health. Even when the baby was born on November 16, the world has shown their concern for the new mother and the baby. We all expected that seeing such lovely wishes and regards for the new baby girl, the Bachchans might melt and introduce Bitiya to the world. But all our expectations came to an end when we witnessed only wishes from the Bachchans and no hint of the baby's pics.

Also, the Bachchans have received suggestions for the child's name from their fans all over, but it seems they have not yet come to a conclusion in finalising one. So, shall we still refer Aishwarya's baby as Bitiya or Beti B?

The baby bump is yet to disappear completely, but the big bucks have already started flowing in. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hasn’t yet put a time-frame on her comeback to films, or even begun deciding on future plans, but the endorsement deals are here.

The buzz is that the diva has been roped in by a big international jewellery brand as their new brand ambassador. “The deal was actually closed before Aishwarya delivered. They are still trying to keep things under wraps, and will go public with it sometime in January,” says our source. That apart, Ash also has her comeback vehicle, in the form of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani planned. Looks like the Bachchan bahu is all set to take the industry by storm. Yet again.

If sources are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed an endorsement deal for a very famous international jewellery line. Though the two huge players in the international jewellery line is Cartier and Tiffany, it is still not known which company is Aishwarya going to endorse.

After delivering a healthy baby girl on November 16th, Aishwarya Rai was rumoured to make a quick comeback to films. Though we are not sure when that will happen, it is being speculated that Aish will be the spokeswoman of a jewellery line. It seems that though the deal was fixed even before Aishwarya's delivery, everything is being kept under wraps until January 2012 when the company will officially announce the news.
