The actress was reportedly offered a million-dollar deal by a Hollywood studio to make a documentary on her. But Ash didn’t find the idea exciting. The shoot required the crew to be with her throughout a week to document every minute detail of her personal life; it also involved shooting at her home. The Bollywood remake stars Abhishek along with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Omi Vaidya in the lead.

It is believed that Katrina walked out of the project citing date problems. Rumours, however, indicate that Katrina is reluctant to sign another film opposite Abhishek besides Dostana 2 , given the actor's flop run in the box-office of late. Several other top actresses, including Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, have reportedly walked out of the film earlier.

A few months back, buzz was that Katrina had elbowed past Ash to bag the Barbie Doll contract. However, Aishwarya cleared the air saying ‘I was asked initially. But I refused and then it went to someone else.’

Now that Kat’s dates have gone for a toss with the film not taking off until mid 2011, Ash is hoping that some one else might step in.”Surely, Ash won’t be playing any part in Dostana 2 which has Katrina Kaif as the female lead. Wonder if Katrina is considering walking out of that film, as well.

Aishwarya Rai Her Next Movie With Shyam Benegals: When two titans come together, they're bound to make news. The latest buzz is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has apparently agreed to feature in ace director Shyam Benegal's next. The film in question will apparently go on floors next year and is touted to be an out-and-out female-oriented subject.

Ash, who has back to back releases this year, has finally decided to do Benegal's film stating that it is a very special project. In the past, Aishwarya was offered Benegal's film Chamki Chameli, an adaptation of Georges Bizet's classic French opera Carmen, but there was no further word on the project. The latest Benegal film apparently, takes Aishwarya into a different time zone; however it is not a period film. The official announcement of the film is awaited.

Aishwarya Rai Reject Endorsing Danone: ishwarya Rai has denied being the brand ambassador for French dairy brand Danone - as has been reported in the media. Danone has a joint venture (JV) with Yakult in India, for which Kajol is the brand ambassador. Rumours were rife that besides the JV, Danone was also planning to go independent and Aishwarya was roped in as the face for it. The actress` publicist has denied the reports.

"Media reportage on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan signed on as the brand ambassador for Danone products is entirely untrue. This kind of vicarious publicity shows unprofessionalism on part of the brand and their agency," said a statement from her publicist. "We would again like to reiterate that there is no truth to these rumours and would request the media in future to cross-check facts with us before reporting such false and untrue stories," it further read.

Aishwarya Rai And Salman Khan Clashing In Theater: The excitement of actors and ex-flames Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan clashing, at least in the theaters, would have to be kept on hold for some other day. Buzz is that Ash’s film with Rajnikanth in the lead was initially supposed to be released on the same day as Salman’s action film. However, Ash’s film has now been moved to a later day.

Says a trade observer, “The makers of the Ash-Rajnikanth starrer have been holding the release plans of the film pretty close to their heart. However the trade was getting enough hints that the film would arrive along with Salman’s film. With the festive season at its peak around this time, both the films wanted to make the best of this period.”

The latest twist in the tale has turned out to be quite surprising. Though one waits to get further confirmation from the makers themselves, it is being said that the release date has been moved to accommodate certain patchwork required in Ash’s film.

However, what cannot be ruled out is the fact that Salman’s film is also carrying massive hype and Ash’s film, which is also releasing in Hindi, would have been definitely impacted if the clash had happened.

The former beauty queen, known for her expressive green eyes, teamed up with the Indian Eye Bank Association to advocate the cause of eye donation recently. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Rajinikanth’s trademark style of tossing the cigarette, is loved by Ash. She could ask him once or twice at max to enact this scene for her, but she wanted to see it repeatedly. Thus she purposely kept making mistakes while shooting her scene; Rajinikanth ended up enacting his patented stunt six times.
